Welcome to Food In The Fort, a food blog from two serious foodies living in the bustling metropolis of Fort Wayne, Indiana. We’re still building the site but in future days you’ll be able to find recipes, restaurant reviews, and general commentary on all things food and Fort Wayne right here.
About the author: I've only lived in Fort Wayne for slightly less than a year but have grown to love the city in this short time. We're very lucky to have such a diverse food culture that goes far beyond the typical fast food fare. As for cooking, I used to dread it but it's become one of my favorite activities to do with Catherine. There's something very relaxing about cooking and setting down to a nice meal together. Wow! Finally a food blog for all the gourmands
CatherineWow! Finally a food blog for all the gourmands in Fort Wayne IN. I’ll be checking back regularly for restaurant reviews and lots of yummy recipes which are neither particularly healthy nor guaranteed to be leftover free. And while I’m at it, lemme just give a quick shout-out to my favorite barista in all of the Fort: Steve Ball of the Java Bean on Broadway. I’m still sipping my cappuccino and thinking of you, Steve!
